I still remember my vacation at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has a scenic Bay Lake and the Settlement Area. At Fort Wilderness Pavilion, you can experience Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, a festive Character Dining hoedown, watch a blacksmith affix horseshoes to the horses that pull the trolleys on Main Street, or take either a carriage, wagon and horseback rides around the wilderness. Guests can rent a variety of watercraft like SeaRaycers and pontoon boats or book a catch-and-release fishing expedition. Plus, there are pony rides for children. spend half of your vacation roughing it and the other half at Westgate’s five star resort, Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa.
