The City of Orlando is home to Disney’s Animal Kingdom – the largest Disney theme park in the world. It covers about 500 acres of land and, while dedicated to animal, the park is much more than a zoo. The park focuses on animal conservation with the massive “The Tree of Life” acting as its central icon. The Orlando, FL theme park has many themed areas like the Oasis, Discovery Island, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Africa, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Asia, DinoLand USA, and Beastly Kingdom. Each area offers a different experience in line with the theme. There are many restaurants and shops for you to enjoy, as well. This is just one of the several major Disney parks in Orlando, so make sure to buy a Disney Vacation Package that allows you to enjoy some of the other parks, too.
